A new look!
Out with the old, in with the new. I’ve threatened to update my website to more current web standards for years now. It took the encouragement of my daughter, Pattie Rose, to get this project airborne. Over the past two years I attempted to upgrade this site but, became frustrated with online, drag and drop template web designs. There were too many constraints and I couldn’t achieve the result that I was looking for. I suppose I could have paid a young web designer to complete the update but, I’m too much of a self starter to go that route. The real impetus behind this update is two fold; 1) I haven’t updated the photo gallery for two years owing to a high level of difficulty in posting pictures and changes in photo repositories (Picasa to Google) and 2) My daughter’s eagerness to employ her considerable web design skills and help me make the transition to a manageable site. Truth is my daughter and my wife are the main players in the site update. It’s their fault! Both are talented and both have driven personalities! That makes me the blessed one. Anyway, here is the updated site. I hope you will find it useful and great experience. Do check my blog posts where I’ll update current clock builds including methods, techniques and lots of photos. Since many of my clocks are already completed designs, I’ll add them in my posts to demonstrate how I changed aspects of the builds as I learned from past ‘mistakes.’ The current clock is a near copy of the Galileo design in M-11. I’ll post that status in my next update. I do expect to post at least once a week. I’m open to your critical thoughts on how I might improve the site so, please feel free to send me your comments.
