You may ask, where is the M1? The M1 did exist and, along with the M2, was used as a training project when I first started learning how to design and build a wood wheels clock. By popular demand I kept the M2 alive. Neither the M1 or M2 were slated for a show room! In fact, I destroyed the M1 fearing that I might be judged by its appearance. Trust me, it was not ready for a public viewing! The M2 does have beautiful woods in its construction and I was convinced to allow it to survive!
